While our goal is to sort all photos by dog's name (who wants to scroll through 30 other dogs anyway?), we are not always successful, given the first-come-first-served nature of the event. If you can't find your dog's name and/or photos, here are some things to try.
1. Check other dogs that are the same breed as yours, particularly if it was the same handler(s). (That herd of Golden Retrievers was fun, but we're pretty sure some of them are still in the wrong album.)
2. Check alternate spellings of your dog's name. We often only hear a dog's name, which means our spelling could get creative. Or if you are the creative one, check the more traditional spelling of the name.
3. Check under the name on your bumper or clothing. Sometimes that's all we have to go on (I'm looking at you Spicey-Ricey and Gala Monsta).
4. If you were also running at NAC and were still wearing your number on your back, check the name of your agility dog. (Lucy? Anyone named Lucy here? Anyone know Lucy's mom?)
5. If you ran multiple dogs, it's possible the photos got grouped by handler instead of by dog. It wasn't on purpose, but sometimes those black-and-white border collies can only be told apart by the people who know them best.
6. Check the album of "Unnamed dogs". Those are the ones where we tried matching collars, toys, handler shoes, or that mark on your dog's...stomach...that no one else ever notices. And we still came up short. Believe me, we are just as disappointed as you.
7. If you've done everything in this list and you *still* can't find your dog, it's time to raise the white flag of surrender and email me (amy@greatdanephotos.com). Please include a description of the dog (breed/color), dog accessories (collar style and/or color, bumper colors, etc.), your clothing, hat, or other distinguishing features (tattoos anyone?) and I'll do my best to track down those images.
